In conversation: Professors Geoff Gill and Nick Beeching

This interview was recorded in the Dagnall Laboratory at LSTM. Hon Research Fellow, Meg Parkes MPhil, interviews Professors Geoff Gill and Nick Beeching about their work over many years with WWII Far East prisoner of war (FEPOW) veterans.

The FEPOW study is the longest running project in LSTM's 125-year history, having started back in late 1945, soon after survivors began returning through Liverpool and Southampton.

Geoff and Nick explain what it has meant to them, to LSTM, and to tropical and military medicine, to have worked in such a unique doctor/patient collaboration over several decades.
